Job summary

TransPak in Manor, TX is seeking a materials coordinator to ensure an efficient flow of materials through ERP-driven processes. You will help maximize production efficiency by reconciling inventory, scheduling firm work orders, and maintaining accurate storage locations.

The role requires bilingual English-Spanish, basic math, and forklift/pallet jack experience, with overtime and weekend availability as needed. Collaborate with customer service, production and inventory control teams.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Bilingual English-Spanish speaker.
Strong organization skills.
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a similar role.
ERP experience using receiving/inventory functions.
Ability to speak, read, write English; Spanish speaking a plus.
Basic math skills and understanding of receiving/inventory concepts.
Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory data in ERP system.
Works within ERP system to schedule firm work orders.
Responsible for the accuracy of material storage locations physically and systematically.
Assist in maintaining proper labeling of material.
Assist in maintaining organization and stocking levels for all materials.
Receive incoming shipments and perform incoming inspection per company procedures.
Perform movements of material within ERP systems such as RTV/RMA transactions.
Perform MI/MR transactions per company procedures.
Communicate with internal/external departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
Assist with pick/pull of materials, load/unload trucks as needed.
Address and report equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safety.
Speak up when observing something unsafe.
Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures.
Communicate with production team daily to prioritize changing critical shipments.
Communicate with inventory control managers to resolve shortages or delays in production due to materials being overallocated.
