Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to check purchase orders and maintain purchasing records.

Responsibilities

• Maintains records of goods ordered and shipping dates.
• Confirms shipping dates with vendors.
• Monitors shipping notices to avoid delivery problems.
• Reports major shipping problems to purchasing.
• Assigns tracers to shipments to identify delays.
• Inspects shipments to confirm products meet specifications.
• Updates MRP System to reflect dock dates and lead times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
