Job summary

Hive + Co is seeking a Material Expeditor contractor in Columbus, OH to secure on‑time material deliveries and support O&M project needs. You will manage supplier commitments, track shipments end‑to‑end, and partner across functions to minimize schedule impacts.

Responsibilities include expediting for assigned suppliers, coordinating with planners and carriers, and driving recovery actions for late orders while maintaining accurate ERP/MRP data and weekly OTD reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or related field; 3+ years in expediting/materials/logistics acceptable.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and shipping documentation.
• Strong communication and data-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Expedite for assigned suppliers/commodities; secure firm ship dates and plans.
• Coordinate with carriers, suppliers and internal teams to align material readiness with site needs.
• Identify risks early and drive recovery actions (split shipments, premium freight approvals).
• Maintain ERP/MRP data, perform weekly OTD reporting, and support continuous improvements.
