Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is offering a co-op position for a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Materials, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.

Students will apply classroom concepts to hands-on process and product design within PCC's manufacturing environment. The program emphasizes learning with increasing responsibility, participation in project teams, and development of documentation and analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Materials, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Prefer a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Apply principles learned in school to hands-on situations, such as process and product design.
• Accomplish performance goals with progressive responsibility in process and/or product engineering.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for specified projects.
• Attend regular departmental meetings and training sessions.
• Perform or review systems analysis, testing, and documentation for existing processes.
• Take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.
• Participate on project teams for assigned projects and develop requirements and specifications with team.
• Meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with peers and other departments on new product development and enhancements.
