Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking 3–6 month Co-Ops for September 2026 to April 2027 at its New Hartford, NY facility. Candidates should be pursuing a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with strong technical aptitude and teamwork abilities.

The role involves hands-on projects, interaction with maintenance, and exposure to industrial processes. The intern will learn equipment design, root cause analysis, and trend analysis within an industrial setting, with a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Minimum second year students working towards a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A strong technical aptitude with ability to work independently and with maintenance technicians, production crew and vendors.
• Must be able to read prints and schematics and have working proficiency with SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Intern will work on short/long term projects to improve maintenance reliability programs.
• Gain experience in equipment design, root cause analysis, trend analysis and process improvement in an industrial setting.
