We are seeking a hands-on Materials Engineer for our client, a rapidly scaling advanced manufacturing company developing a next-generation facility focused on complex materials and precision components. Their work supports critical sectors such as electric vehicles, energy infrastructure, and national security, and they are building a world-class team to drive innovation and domestic production.

As the Materials Engineer, you will focus on qualifying and tailoring advanced magnetic components for a diverse set of commercial applications. This team supports a broad range of customer-specific use cases, offering exposure to unique technical challenges and customization work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead magnet performance testing and qualification workflows in a lab environment.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production to adapt component specifications to customer needs.
  • Support scale-up efforts for new materials and product configurations.
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment used in material and magnetic characterization.
  • Participate in developing quality and process control protocols.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field with a strong foundation in advanced materials. Hands-on experience in an industrial environment is a must along with demonstrated success in technical problem-solving and lab-based innovation. Success in this role requires a builder’s mindset, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to solving problems in a fast-paced setting.
