Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and deliver supplies and materials between Maverick Power facilities.
  • Transport, sort, and stock materials, supporting Receiving and Shipping teams.
  • Perform simple vehicle maintenance and ensure the vehicle is clean and safe.
  • Obey all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
  • Interact with customers and suppliers in a professional manner.
  • Obtain signatures for payment and deliver receipts.
  • Return documentation to the appropriate company official.
  • Unload vehicle after completing deliveries.

About the Role

The Deliver Driver will be responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and materials amongst our facilities in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials, as well as providing support to the materials handling teams (Receiving, Shipping, etc).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, scheduling routine maintenance to keep vehicle running properly
  • Observes all traffic laws and posted speed limits
  • Delivers goods to clients
  • Interacts with the customer/suppliers in a professional manner
  • Collects required signature for payment, proof of delivery, and gives a receipt to customer/supplier/facility
  • Returns all required documentation to appropriate company official
  • Observes no smoking in delivery vehicle
  • Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance
  • Must get all pertinent information if involved in an accident and inform appropriate company official
  • Unloads vehicle after completing delivery runs
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Other duties as assigned.
