Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking a Field Service Material Coordinator II to manage materials, procurement, and logistics within a fast-paced service organization. You will oversee procurement, warranty processing, and cost tracking across field service and customer projects, acting as a subject matter expert for complex materials tasks.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, ERP and Service Fusion/SAP proficiency, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in materials coordination, procurement, field service administration, or logistics.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP and field service platforms (e.g., Service Fusion, SAP, or equivalent).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex materials tasks and competing priorities with accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience preparing detailed operational reports.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of and coordinate all service-related materials from procurement through shipment, installation, return, or disposal.
  • Maintain and continuously improve accurate material records including usage, transfers, RMAs, and warranty disposition.
  • Support and independently execute procurement activities including vendor coordination, quoting, purchase tracking, and delivery follow-up.
  • Own administrative support for material sales, invoicing validation, chargeability review, and revenue reconciliation.
  • Take primary responsibility for tracking warranty materials, labor, freight, and related costs for reporting and recovery.
  • Independently coordinate inbound and outbound shipping, logistics, and freight documentation with minimal supervision.
  • Own the full return authorization (RMA) process from initiation through vendor credit, including exception handling and escalation as needed.
  • Serve as a proficient user and internal resource for Service Fusion and ERP systems; identify and communicate process improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports related to material usage, warranty costs, and inventory activity.
  • Proactively identify discrepancies or process gaps and recommend solutions to supervisor.
  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for field service staff on materials, shipping, and warranty questions.
  • Perform additional advanced administrative support tasks as assigned

About the Role:

The Field Service Material Coordinator II is an experienced, high-level support role within a fast-paced and growing service organization. Working under the direction of a supervisor, this position takes meaningful ownership of day-to-day material management, procurement coordination, warranty administration, and logistics operations. With 10 years of relevant experience, the Coordinator II serves as a subject matter expert and a reliable point of accountability for complex materials tasks, process consistency, and cross-team coordination across field service, warranty, and customer project operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of and coordinate all service-related materials from procurement through shipment, installation, return, or disposal

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in materials coordination, procurement, field service administration, or logistics

Strong working knowledge of ERP and field service management platforms (e.g., Service Fusion, SAP, or equivalent)

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex materials tasks and competing priorities with accuracy

Strong analytical skills with experience preparing detailed operational reports

Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills

Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Comfortable serving as an informal resource or point of reference for less experienced colleagues

Valid driver’s license; occasional travel may be required

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
