Job summary

Maverick Power seeks a delivery driver to load, unload, and transport materials between our North Texas facilities in Garland and beyond. You will perform routine vehicle maintenance, ensure safety, and provide professional service to clients and suppliers.

The role requires at least 1 year of delivery experience, strong communication, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and deliver supplies between Maverick Power facilities.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Deliver goods to clients and obtain signatures for delivery.
• Interact professionally with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and receipts.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
• Support materials handling teams as needed.

About the Role

The Deliver Driver will be responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and materials amongst our facilities in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials, as well as providing support to the materials handling teams (Receiving, Shipping, etc).

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, scheduling routine maintenance to keep vehicle running properly
• Observes all traffic laws and posted speed limits
• Delivers goods to clients
• Interacts with the customer/suppliers in a professional manner
• Collects required signature for payment, proof of delivery, and gives a receipt to customer/supplier/facility
• Returns all required documentation to appropriate company official
• Observes no smoking in delivery vehicle
• Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance
• Must get all pertinent information if involved in an accident and inform appropriate company official
• Unloads vehicle after completing delivery runs
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
• Other duties as assigned.
