Job summary

QXO, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to safely deliver materials to customer locations and job sites. You will combine driving with loading, unloading, and verifying deliveries, while delivering excellent service and maintaining accurate paperwork.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years driving experience, a valid license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Forklift experience, a DOT medical card, and strong communication with customers and team members are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• 1-2 years driving experience preferred.
• Some knowledge of millwork construction supplies.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs.
• DOT medical card within 30 days.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Direct customer interaction experience.
• Effective communication with colleagues, vendors and customers.
• Adaptable to diverse environments and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws.
• Deliver materials to job sites and customer locations on time.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Verify materials and delivery details before and after delivery.
• Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
• Maintain delivery logs and complete required paperwork.
• Interact professionally with customers and job site personnel.
• Address questions and ensure a positive delivery experience.
• Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage.
• Assist with returns, exchanges, or corrections as needed.
• Support warehouse or yard operations, including staging.
• Follow safety policies, including PPE usage.
• Report accidents or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
