Job summary

Commonwealth Building Materials, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper in Glen Allen, VA to load, locate job sites, back, prepare and restore the job site, and ready the truck for the next day while maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, pre-trip checks, unloading and delivering materials, and navigating routes to job sites. Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work well independently or in a team. This position is outdoors with potential overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; foster inclusive environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety by complying with company, state and federal guidelines (OSHA/DOT).
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment and paperwork for accuracy of orders.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Navigate routes to the job site and secure materials on the truck.
