Job summary

Commonwealth Building Materials, Inc. in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Delivery Helper to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, and ready the truck for the next day while maintaining truck and equipment.

You will follow OSHA and DOT guidelines, perform pre-trip checks, and safely unload materials to designated areas. The role requires the ability to read and communicate clearly, lift up to 75 lbs, and work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs to carry materials such as drywall materials and joint compound.
• Demonstrates trust, integrity and servant leadership in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, state and federal guidelines (OSHA and DOT) for safety of all personnel.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loads to ensure order accuracy.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal and pallets on the truck; navigate routes to the job site.
