Job summary

Texas Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Delivery Helper to support the delivery of building materials to job sites across our Texas markets. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service as you assist in loading, unloading and organizing loads with supervision.

You will work in a yard/warehouse environment, ensuring proper handling and clear communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with delivery, material handling and/or warehouse work.
• Basic math, reading orders and completing forms.
• Effective verbal and written communication with customers and supervisors.
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
• Proficiency with smartphones, GPS and related apps.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and deliver materials to job sites.
• Check orders for accuracy and secure loads.
• Deliver and unload materials to customers' satisfaction.
• Provide excellent customer service and relay messages as needed.
• Assist in unloading material and maintaining yard/warehouse housekeeping.
• Obtain supervisor approval for loads and note any hazards.
• Assist supervisor and other teams as assigned.
