Job summary

CSAT Solutions is seeking a Materials Data Clerk to manage data entry, reporting, and inventory control within our warehouse operations in Houston. The position requires a high school diploma, at least two years of customer service and data manipulation experience, and intermediate Excel skills; working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems is preferred.

You will collaborate with program managers and customer buyers to resolve shipment and receipt issues and support ISO 9001 quality

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service and data manipulation; warehouse experience preferred.
• Intermediate Excel knowledge and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and policies.
• Excellent time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates daily reports including shipment to customer sites, materials receipt, open purchase orders, and variance reports
• Compares materials data between company and customer systems
• Performs discrepancy screening and contacts customer for closure
• Data entry of receipts, shipments and inventory adjustments in the customer portal
• Conducts warehouse inventory tracking using WMS
• Enters shipment pre-alerts from customers and vendors into WMS
• Handles quarantined materials purge requests
• Communicates with company and customer contacts via email and messaging to answer shipment/receipt questions
• Assists material handlers and other personnel in movement of materials
• Moves customer materials as needed
• Follows ISO 9001 and other quality system requirements
• May perform other duties as assigned
