Job summary

Daifuku North America is hiring a Material Coordinator to support the manufacturing plant in Hobart, IN. The role involves data entry in SAP, shortage resolution, and stock management for upcoming jobs.

Responsibilities include updating management on shortages, assisting across departments, and ensuring accurate part identification using UKG and drawings. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• UKG/SAP experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Technical orientation.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task with deadlines.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into SAP about issued and transferred parts.
• Resolve shortages and discrepancies.
• Receive manufactured parts into stock and issue to jobs.
• Assist daily tasks to maintain productivity.
• Identify parts via UKG and drawings.
• Update Sr. Management on shortage status.
• Investigate missing stock for work orders.
• Monitor shortage list for Shipping team.
• Collaborate across departments to close jobs on time.
• Inform shipping of findings to aid on-time shipments.
