Job summary

Daifuku North America in Hobart, IN is seeking a qualified Material Handler for full-time 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM). The role involves receiving, unloading, verifying shipments, and maintaining computer records for inventory movement in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.

You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, move material, load/unload trucks, and support safe, orderly warehousing while following Daifuku’s QMS policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read precise measurements.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Able to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Handle, move, load and unload materials by hand or using equipment such as forklifts or tow motors.
• Receive and unload items, verify shipment condition and maintain records.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials.
• Assist in loading/unloading at docks and inventory activities.
• Follow Daifuku QMS policies and procedures and support continuous improvement.
