Job summary

Your Employment Solutions is hiring a Materials Coordinator in Salt Lake City to support laboratory operations in a regulated, fast-moving environment. This role focuses on receiving, labeling, and tracking specimens and materials using a LIMS, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

You will maintain inventories at -20°C to refrigerated temps, assist with shipments, and help train team members. A lab or warehouse background and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Associate's degree with relevant experience or substitute education with significant work experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing/bending/reaching tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, track, and retrieve specimens and materials using a LIMS.
• Maintain accurate inventory and proper storage at -20°C to refrigerated temps.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate them to the team to keep studies on track.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments and support sample disposition activities.
• Keep labs compliant with SOPs and EH&S regulations; support QA and process improvements.
