Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school or vocational training with clerical experience.
• Some knowledge of ERP and inventory control processes.
• Proficiency with office software and data entry.
• Able to type accurately and manage documentation.

Responsibilities

• Computes amount of material required to complete job orders.
• Reviews production schedules and confers with purchasing to define adequacy of raw materials.
• Requisitions material and establishes delivery dates according to production plan and material availability.
• Examines material delivered to verify conformance to specifications.
• Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintains manual and computerized records such as material inventory and in-process reports.
• Creates, updates, executes, and analyzes reports.
• Gathers data, tracks, posts and develops action plans and root cause analyses.
• Maintains inventory cycle count program and reconciles discrepancies.
• Identifies parts and supplies to maintain stocking levels.
• Verifies accuracy of material kits vs pick lists and tracks defect levels on inspected kits.
