Supervises Positions:
The Materials Coordinator facilitates the distribution of supplies in accordance with hospital and departmental policy and procedure. Serves as a purchasing/supply resource to hospital staff, as well as other areas as assigned.
Some major job functions include but are not limited to:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience required. Previous healthcare experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.

Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Knowledge/experience in using pallet jack, dock board and hand trucks.
The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Demand Code: Medium to Heavy Physical Demand. The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment.
