Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Electrical Manufacturing seeks a Material Control Specialist to support assembly of electrical chassis, cables, PCBs, and electro‑mechanical assemblies. You will manage material movements, generate serials, and ensure accurate kit preparation and labeling in a lab-driven production environment.

Applicants should have a High School diploma, 3–5 years in inventory management, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years in inventory or materials management.
• Able to stand for up to 4 hours daily.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Final Secret Clearance.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support production efforts with lab managers and technicians while maintaining delivery schedules.
• Move materials in and out of labs to support builds.
• Generate serial numbers, organize kits, and prep parts for use.
• Escalate shortages or issues to complete builds.
• Package completed electrical assemblies and track subassemblies across labs and stockrooms.
