Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in material control, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Proven experience managing teams and coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control systems.
• Understanding of DFARS Clause 252.242-7004 MMAS requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement material control policies and procedures to optimize inventory management and reduce excess stock.
• Monitor daily material usage and inventory levels, ensuring accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to forecast material needs and schedule deliveries accordingly.
• Lead and mentor the material control team, providing training and support to improve performance and adherence to standards.
• Analyze material flow data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements related to material handling and storage.
• Prepare and present reports on inventory status, material variances, and control metrics to stakeholders.
