Job summary

Leidos Civil Group in Chesapeake, VA seeks a dynamic Material Handler to support warehouse and logistics operations by performing material handling, packaging, inventory and data management tasks in line with established procedures.

Key duties include preparing and packaging parts to spec, maintaining accurate shipping and receiving documentation, data entry in the logistics system, and assisting with cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years or greater of relevant experience.
• Ability to lift 40 Pounds, Previous Warehouse Experience.
• General Computer Skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) and data entry.
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Materials Management: Controlling the acquisition, storage, and distribution of materials to support production and operations.
• Process Improvements: Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to processes to address them.
• Warehousing Operations: Responsible for storage, handling, and distribution of goods within a warehouse facility to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
