Job summary

Leidos Civil Group is seeking a dynamic Material Handler in Chesapeake, VA. The selected candidate will support warehouse and logistics operations by performing material handling, packaging, inventory, and data management activities in accordance with established procedures.

The Material Handler will support inventory transactions, maintain accurate material records, and assist with periodic inventory and cycle count activities to ensure inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform data entry using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Materials Management: control acquisition, storage, and distribution of materials to support production and operations.
• Perform routine and well‑defined tasks to achieve day‑to‑day objectives.
• Identify process improvements and implement changes to workflows.
• Warehouse operations: ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods.
