Job summary

Leidos Civil Group is seeking a dynamic Material Handler in Chesapeake, VA. The role supports warehouse ops, including material handling, packaging, inventory, and data management in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing/packaging parts to packaging specs, maintaining shipping/receiving docs, and data entry in logistics systems. The candidate should be detail-oriented, able to work in a team, and capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds; prior warehouse experience.
• General computer skills and data entry using Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Materials Management: Control acquisition, storage and distribution of materials to support production and operations.
• Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to processes.
• Warehousing Operations: Storage, handling and distribution of goods within a warehouse to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
