Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) Switchgear Division invites applications for a Material Center Manager to lead all Material Center operations, overseeing inventory control, warehousing, subassembly activities, and material transactions to support production schedules and customer commitments.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, safety, quality, and operational efficiency, with a focus on developing teams, improving processes, and maintaining accurate inventory records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Material Center operations to meet production schedules and customer commitments.
• Drive performance against delivery, inventory accuracy, throughput, and quality goals.
• Oversee inventory management, subassembly activities, and material transactions.
• Develop and lead teams with training, coaching, and cross-training.
• Improve inventory controls and implement lean improvements.
• Ensure safety and compliance within the department.
