Job summary

Q-Edge Corporation, a Foxconn Technology Group company, seeks a detail-oriented Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Houston. You will handle raw material purchasing, inventory planning, import/export coordination, and supplier management to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials and ensure suppliers meet delivery commitments.
• Manage material forecasts, backlog reports, and maintain accurate supply plans in SAP for MRP.
• Coordinate PSI reports with MC to monitor material coverage.
• Maintain raw material lead times based on procurement strategies.
• Meet with MPM teams to update material supply plans.
• Coordinate bonded material imports/exports within FTZ and manage RMA.
• Resolve material shortages and support cross-factory transfers.
• Track shipment schedules (ETD/ETA) and respond to issues.
• Work with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth operations.
