Jobot seeks a Buyer for a leading manufacturing company in Tecumseh, MI. The role focuses on procuring materials for blow molding machinery and products while ensuring timely delivery and cost improvements.

Responsibilities include PO processing, MRP review, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional coordination to sustain supply chain integrity. On-site, permanent position with competitive benefits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a supply chain field; 2+ years buying/planning or 3+ years related experience.
• Working knowledge of MRP systems and functionality.
• Understanding BOM structure and material management.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with all levels of the organization.

Responsabilidades

• Process purchase orders and review for quantity, price, specification and delivery.
• Review MRP messages to ensure steady flow of materials.
• Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms with suppliers.
• Coordinate material deliveries to ensure on-time product delivery.
• Work in ERP system to complete assignments and update supplier confirmations.
• Assist in analyzing supply chain issues and provide recommendations.
