Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a senior Inventory Planning & Asset Management leader in Greenville, SC. You will guide material planning, capacity alignment, and execution across production and logistics to meet schedules and optimize turns.

You will mentor salaried and hourly teams, drive continuous improvement with Lean/Six Sigma, and partner with Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, and Finance to resolve material issues and improve shop operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business management, operations, or engineering from an accredited university.
• 7+ years in manufacturing, operations, or materials management with production/inventory control experience.
• Demonstrated project management ability across functions and management levels.

Responsibilities

• Support Production, Project, and Sales teams to ensure material availability and on-time schedules.
• Forecast and plan material requirements, aligning with lean manufacturing principles.
• Oversee inventories, set minimums and safety stock, manage lead times, adapt to demand changes.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet customer/project needs.
• Lead ongoing cost control and supply chain optimization initiatives.
