Job summary

Wabash is seeking a Materials Planner to support production with material availability, planning, and inventory accuracy across multiple lines. You will convert planned orders, monitor daily picks, and work closely with purchasing and coordinators to resolve shortages and discrepancies.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to pass a drug screen and PIV training, plus solid math, reading, and communication skills. Training provided in AS400 and related systems.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass PIV (power industrial vehicle) training.
• Basic reading, writing, math, & verbal skills.
• Must have both written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to learn and run required computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Create, enter, and manage daily production picks.
• Review BOMs to ensure material availability for production.
• Convert released planned orders for production.
• Monitor inventory levels and correct discrepancies.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, planners on shortages.
• Walk production lines to identify excess materials and assist with returns.
