Job summary

The Material Area Supervisor at ManpowerGroup in Warren, MI leads hourly teams responsible for unloading, storing and delivering material to support production in an automotive assembly plant. You will drive safety, value delivery, and morale while ensuring inventory accuracy and strong relations with management and union workers.

Open to all 3 shifts with overtime as needed; 1–3 years experience with material handling and automotive setting strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience preferred.
• Experience with material handling, raw materials, pallets, lifts, or large PIV equipment preferred.
• Automotive experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safety, delivery, cost, quality, and morale of hourly work teams.
• Develop team leaders to meet corporate guidelines and transform material delivery processes.
• Ensure inventory and record integrity and maintain positive relations with management and union employees.
• Manage multiple work teams in a fast paced, high volume unionized manufacturing environment.
• Oversee and develop teams and practice Leadership Principles.
