Job Description

A Materials & Process QC Engineer supports pipeline projects for Quality & Compliance. This position will also provide support for the Materials & Process product line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material and parts testing: Collaborate on testing parameters, execute and document processes for 3D printed specimens, manage preventative maintenance for testing equipment, facilitate collaboration for testing.
• New materials and equipment testing: Install, qualify new equipment, develop SOPs in collaboration with manufacturers.
• Internal communication and standards: Develop data collection templates, assist in SOPs and best practices, organize testing information in accessible formats such as SharePoint.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience or Master’s Degree in Materials, Biomedical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with polymer fabrication technologies (e.g., 3D Printing, Injection Molding) and characterization techniques (XRCT, SEM, microscopy, DSC, etc.).
• Ability to collaborate across divisions and with external vendors.
• Attention to detail for successful qualification processes.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience operating and maintaining 3D printers.
• Material science expertise specific to 3D printing materials.
• Basic coding skills or experience with SharePoint and Power Apps.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, generally 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates near West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
