Job Title: Materials and Facility Manager

Purpose

Responsible for ensuring operational efficiency specifically focusing on materials management and facility operations. Responsible for researching best prices, negotiating contracts, monitoring inventory levels, distributing supplies, maintaining vendor relationships, and overseeing facility maintenance programs.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Collaborates with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions.
• Responsible for maintaining organizational formulary, PAR levels, Inventory Management system, and overall supply chain needs.
• Assesses current material availability; reasonably predicts future availability based on the market, delivery systems, and other variables.
• Oversee Inventory Lead team and company materials and purchasing program.
• Build relationships with vendors, research potential vendors, and lead contract negotiating for best-in-class pricing.
• Prepares and processes purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Drafts, explains, and implements instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing and contract management.
• Evaluates and approves conditions for issuing and awarding bids.
• Collaborate with management to build forecasting models.
• Analyze purchase history to track and target budgetary goals.
• Ensure all facilities and equipment are always available, operational, safe, and clean.
• Oversee and implement facility improvement/maintenance projects across all locations.
