Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking a Materials Analyst to optimize material flow in Austin, forecasting needs and ensuring timely availability to meet operations. You will support procurement, maintain min/max thresholds, and work with sourcing to optimize inventory and costs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in materials planning or procurement analytics, and proficiency with Epicor/Dynamics and Excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
3+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, or procurement analytics.
Proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor, Dynamics) and Excel-based analysis.
Strong understanding of oilfield operations and material requirements.
Preferred: APICS/CPIM certification and Power BI experience.

Responsibilities

Forecast material requirements based on maintenance schedules and usage history.
Monitor inventory levels and adjust to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Audit material inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain records in ERP systems (Epicor and Dynamics).
Set and manage min/max inventory thresholds aligned with goals.
Collaborate with sourcing to ensure timely material delivery.
Track supplier performance and address issues affecting availability.
Evaluate alternative materials or suppliers to reduce costs and improve reliability.
Generate reports and dashboards on usage, turnover, and cost trends.
Support warehouse optimization and vendor transitions.
