Job summary

Flex in Austin, TX seeks a Materials Coordinator to support inventory control, planning, and distribution in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will work under the Associate Production Supervisor to ensure timely material flow and accurate record-keeping across the material function.

The role requires at least 2 years of administrative experience in materials or planning, familiarity with BAAN/ERP systems, and strong office software skills.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years of administrative experience within materials, planning or related function.
• Experience with BAAN or ERP systems is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Compute material quantities required to complete job orders.
• Review production schedules and coordinate with purchasing on material adequacy.
• Requisition materials and set delivery dates according to production plan and material availability.
• Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain manual and computerized inventory records and production status reports.
• Create and analyze reports; track data and propose action plans.
