Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Materials Analyst to maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee material control in receiving and storage. You will monitor supplier deliveries, perform cycle counts, and provide timely reporting to support smooth supply chain operations.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of inventory management experience.

Qualifications

Minimum one year inventory management experience in an industrial setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform physical inventories to maintain plant operation levels.
Maintain accurate inventory in receiving and storage areas.
Conduct cycle counts and report discrepancies to supervisor.
Generate daily outage material list with zero stock.
Report shortages or damaged inventories to Receiving Clerk / Materials Supervisor.
Notify production of material issues to avoid downtime.
Keep inventory organized and up to date using AMI systems.
Support KPIs for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Cross-train in other Receiving areas as assigned.
