• Perform analysis on inventory discrepancies or supply chain disruptions to develop effective corrective actions.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable pricing, contracts, and sourcing agreements that align with category management strategies.
• Coordinate logistics activities including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, freight management, and demand planning.
• Support procurement processes by sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Assist in financial analysis related to inventory valuation, pricing strategies, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production planning, sales, and other departments to streamline operations.
• Maintain accurate records of all materials transactions while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management software, and logistics operations.
• Demonstrated ability in negotiation, procurement, sourcing, and supplier management within a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with inventory control techniques, demand planning tools, and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Excellent data analysis skills using spreadsheets
• Ability to perform root cause analysis for process improvement initiatives while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across departments such as procurement, production planning, and supply chain analytics.
