Job summary

Southwest Boulder & Stone in Escondido, CA is hiring a Product Assistant / Materials Yard Assistant / Forklift Operator. You will greet customers, assist with product selection and sales, load vehicles, weigh trucks, and maintain yard organization.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Prior forklift experience or certification a plus.
• Ability to work rotational weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet & Greet customers
• Assist customers with product selection and sales
• Load customer vehicles, checking for accuracy
• Weigh trucks when needed
• Coordinate yard upkeep with yard foreman
• Ensure proper tagging, weighing, and storage of products
• Ensure scales and yard areas are clean of debris
• Maintain tool cleanliness and product organization/visibility in yard
• Operate equipment as needed using checklist and safety measures
• Assist Drivers when needed
• Establish sales leads from customers
• Participate in progressive training on current and new product lines
• Complete product knowledge testing
