Job summary

Southwest Boulder & Stone in Indio, CA is hiring for a Full Time Fulfillment Department role. You will complete orders from pick tickets, load trucks, weigh and tag products, and help maintain yard organization in a fast-paced landscape supply environment.

Physical work includes lifting up to 50 lbs, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and supporting drivers with loading/unloading. Training on product lines and safety is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts or related equipment preferred.
• Attention to detail in tagging, weighing and stocking products.

Responsibilities

• Complete orders from pick tickets.
• Load trucks as directed from Fulfillment Lead.
• Weigh trucks when needed.
• Coordinate yard upkeep with Fulfillment Lead.
• Ensure proper tagging, weighing, and storage of products.
• Ensure scales and yard areas are clean of debris.
• Maintain tool cleanliness and product organization/visibility in yard.
• Operate equipment as needed using checklist and safety measures.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and heavy equipment as needed to assist in loading and unloading material.
• Assist drivers when needed.
• Participate in progressive training on current and new product lines.
• Complete product knowledge testing.
• Verify accuracy of outgoing orders.

Essential Job Functions
