Job Description

The Material Value Stream Lead will be responsible for all aspects of material planning and production fulfillment for the assigned value stream.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive safety culture focused on exposure reduction.
  2. Ensure consistent availability of quality material on-time to support production demands.
  3. Oversee material planning and work order/demand management.
  4. Own and maintain lineside inventory planning and inventory accuracy.
  5. Lead lineside material planning coordinators and material control specialists to ensure timely replenishment of material.
  6. Drive improvements in service level, accuracy, and cost across the material value stream.
  7. Provide forward-looking visibility to material challenges and risks to key internal stakeholders through partnership with supply chain.
  8. Partner with production value stream leadership to streamline communication and execution across the end-to-end value stream.
  9. Develop a strategic roadmap for future enhancements to material planning and management strategy.

The position will oversee multiple shift material value stream managers/leads responsible for execution resources for each line.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience or equivalent experience.
  • Prior leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain business.
  • Understanding of key concepts in material planning and replenishment.
  • Ability to improve material flow strategies.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to present information effectively.
  • Ability to identify and drive actionable outcomes through influence.
  • Sense of urgency.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Oracle ERP experience.
  • Bargaining unit management experience.
  • Continuous improvement training/certification.
Pay Information

Full-time salary range: $105,835 - $179,920.

Please note: This range is based on market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, skills, education, and experience.
