Job summary

Majestic Steel USA is hiring for a warehouse/packaging associate in Bedford Heights, OH. You will review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards, and operate basic equipment safely.

The role requires minimal manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Starting pay is $17/hour with a 10% shift differential, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Package materials, review order instructions, label and package to meet customer specs and quality standards.
• Operate equipment safely using micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
• Identify and report damage or quality issues; follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Collaborate with production crew to meet goals and support related duties.

• Pay: Starting rate is $17.00/ hour; could be eligible for more based on experience; 10% shift differential
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:45 pm – 10:45 pm, with overtime as required

What You Will Do:

• Package Materials: You will review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate Equipment Safely: Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
• Maintain Quality and Safety: Identify and report any damage or quality issues and advocate for safety by adhering to guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively with production crew to meet assigned goals and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to operate assigned equipment safely, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount & dismount equipment, capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time, and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions

What Makes You Stand Out:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of manufacturing and/ or warehouse experience
• Basic computer skills such as data entry and retrieval
• Lift truck operation experience
