Job summary

Majestic Steel USA, Inc. in Bedford Heights, OH is seeking a dependable picker/packer to join its manufacturing team. You will review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Work is Monday–Friday, 2:45 pm–10:45 pm with overtime as required. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour plus a 10% shift differential; eligible for benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401k with employer match, life and disability coverage,

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Package materials: review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate equipment safely: use micrometers, calipers, tape guns and banding equipment.
• Maintain quality and safety: identify and report damage or quality issues and wear PPE.
• Support team: collaborate with production crew to meet goals and perform additional duties as assigned.

• Pay: Starting rate is $17.00/ hour; could be eligible for more based on experience; 10% shift differential
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:45 pm - 10:45 pm, with overtime as required

What You Will Do:

• Package Materials: You will review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate Equipment Safely: Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
• Maintain Quality and Safety: Identify and report any damage or quality issues and advocate for security by adhering to guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively with production crew to meet assigned goals and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to operate assigned equipment safely, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount & dismount equipment, capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time, and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Basic computer skills such as data entry and retrieval
