Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Materials Support Assistant to ensure clinical areas receive the right medical and surgical supplies at the right time and quantity. The role involves stocking, rotating stock, and processing orders using hospital inventory software across inpatient and outpatient units.

Responsibilities include receiving packages at docks, delivering to end users with priority handling for STAT items, and maintaining accurate receiving logs while upholding department

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and write English and perform basic math.
• Demonstrates attention to detail in counting, matching packing slips and inventory records.
• Communicates clearly with end users and team members.

Responsibilities

• Handle medical and surgical supplies for inpatient and outpatient departments using hospital inventory software.
• Receive, stock, and deliver packages; verify against packing slips and orders.
• Maintain inventory integrity, rotate stock, and manage expiration dates; assist in RF supply tasks as needed.
