Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Material Handler/Warehouse/Inventory Management professional to join the team responsible for segregating, routing, and controlling the flow of project or standard tools.

You will track tools through the rework/repair cycle, manage stocking and accountability on the shop floor, and perform receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities while operating hoists, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment. You will use warehouse software to keep materials moving efficiently.

Qualifications

Documented experience in segregating, routing and controlling the flow of new, used, damaged or surplus tools through the rework/repair cycle.
Documented experience in receiving, warehousing, and shipping within an industrial environment.
Documented experience in production control tasks in support of fabrication and/or assembly environments, including receipt, handling, storage, delivery and tracking of materials, parts and tools.

You will have excellent problem‑solving skills, the ability to lift and move heavy materials, and the ability to operate mechanical/motor driven equipment.

Basic Qualifications

Documented experience in segregating, routing and controlling the flow of new, used, damaged or surplus Project or Standard Tools. Experience should entail the tracking of such tools through the rework/repair cycle and ultimate assignment of stocking and maintaining accountability of various standard tools and equipment within a shop floor environment.
Documented experience in Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping within an Industrial environment.
Documented experience in performing Production Control tasks and Activities in support of a Fabrication and or Assembly environment. Experience must include the receipt, handling, movement, storage, delivery, and tracking of various materials, parts and tools.

NOTES: Individual must have the ability to lift and move raw material, parts, tools, equipment, and associated materials in a warehouse environment of 25 pounds over head and manually push/pull rolling weight over 50 pounds.

Individual must be able to provide documentation validating experience in operating mechanical/motor driven equipment such as hoist, towing equipment, cranes to include overhead crane or corrugated carton machine, tugs, forklifts, high lift picker, and similar electric and gas powered devices that are used to move and store large items; and be able to obtain required certifications for operating various mechanical/motor driven equipment.

Individual must have experience in operating various computer platforms, such as Desktop general business operation systems, and general quality warehouse systems.

Shift assignment is subject to change based on operational needs and requirements.

For (Washington state applicants only) Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
