Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Associate to support storeroom activities, material handling, and SMT line maintenance in a fast-paced setting. You will process orders in SAP/Apriso and maintain accurate inventory while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires a US citizen able to obtain a government security clearance, with flexibility for overtime and shifts. A professional, team-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

  • Operate SMT assembly line setup, running, and daily maintenance.
  • Able to obtain a Government security clearance.
  • Able to safely move product with tools (forklifts, pallet jacks, carts).
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work flexible shifts to support schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Operations leadership, Production Control, Customer and Government Representatives daily.
  • Perform storeroom activities including receiving and storing materials.
  • Process orders and inventory movements in SAP/Apriso.
  • Maintain SMT assembly line and FIFO/perishable items.
  • Participate in audits and ensure safe, clean work area.
  • Assist training and support continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Works with Operations leadership, Production Control, Customer and Government Representatives on a daily basis in a courteous and professional manner
  • Performs all types of storeroom activity, including receiving and placing incoming materials into the storeroom and filling work order requirements
  • Process orders and production pulls/inventory/material movements in SAP/APRISO
  • Perform all necessary tasks associated with the setup, running, and daily maintenance of the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Assembly line
  • Maintain perishable items using FIFO or expiration date criteria
  • Check quantity received against material receivers by counting or weighing
  • Stores all material in a safe manner, utilizing space to maximum advantage
  • Participates during internal and external audits as required
  • Validates paperwork to product
  • Employee will receive and/or process material for storage and use as required
  • Must maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Responsible for receiving in-coming parts, determining their destination, and completing all necessary paperwork involved
  • Maintains records of results
  • Adheres to safety guidelines and the correct procedures for performing tasks to prevent personal injury or damage to product and/or equipment
  • Assist in the training of employees as assigned
  • Supports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to complete tasks associated with the setup, running, and daily maintenance of the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Assembly line.
  • Must be able to become Licensed Forklift operator
  • Must be able to safely move product with tools such as fork lifts, pallet jacks, carts and similar tools
  • Must be able to count using tools such as scales and x-ray part counters, and other measuring devices
  • Must be able to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required
  • Ability to multi-task, sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to obtain a Government Security clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Basic computing literacy is required
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Skills
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment
  • Responsible for training new personnel on policies, procedures and duties
  • Forklift experience
  • Crane and hoist experience
  • Inventory Control experienceShipping and traffic experience
  • Familiar with proper Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESD) handling processes & procedures
  • Experience working in a receiving stockroom or shipping area, or loading and unloading parts, or packing or unpacking materials, and keeping inventory counts
  • Shop floor coordination/material handling
  • Ability to work well with others and cross shift with others on the same work
  • Be a self-starter and be able to work with limited supervision
  • Demonstrated computer skills areas of LM tools including SAP, Apriso, Command Media, PAL and Windchill
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office computer proficiency
Pay Information

Pay rate for this position is $23.58 - $23.58 per hour.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
