Job summary

Allegion Access Technologies LLC is seeking a Material Specialist in Greenfield, Indiana to manage material flow for production and inventory control. The role involves receiving, staging, issuing, and moving materials using forklifts and ERP systems, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability, perform cycle counts, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of material handling and inventory experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and barcode scanners.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stage, issue, and deliver materials to support production schedules and orders.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment.
• Enter inventory transactions into ERP/MRP systems and run KPI reports.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
