Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Material Specialist within the Product Support and Logistics Division. You will participate in receiving, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts and materials using order pickers and forklifts as needed.

You will also use handheld scanners to update records and perform routine housekeeping and clerical tasks. The role stresses safety, teamwork, and the ability to learn multiple processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform material handling and warehousing tasks including receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts and materials.
• Operate order pickers and forklifts where required; access and update information with handheld scanners.
• Perform housekeeping and report defects or repair needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with clerical duties as directed.
• Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management.
