Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Material Specialist for the Product Support and Logistics Division. The role focuses on safe material handling, warehousing, and order processing to support CAT parts and supplies.

Responsibilities include operating order pickers and forklifts, using handheld scanners, and maintaining neat, accurate records while supporting continuous improvement in logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walk 10–12 miles per day, and work on equipment at heights up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform material handling and warehousing functions for receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts and supplies.
• Operate order pickers, reach trucks, and sit-down forklifts as assigned, and use handheld scanners for receiving and order processing.
• Perform housekeeping, report defects, and assist with repairs as needed.
• Execute other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management.
