Fives Landis Corp is seeking a Material Shipping Specialist in Hagerstown, Maryland. You will organize shipments, prepare documentation, and coordinate machine shipments to customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with carrier requirements.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of receiving experience, and strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills. SAP experience is a plus, with a focus on accurate documentation and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing receiving experience.
• Ability to read and prepare forms required in stockroom operations and shipments.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate domestic and international shipments for orders.
• Create, review, and maintain shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, USMCA).
• Prepare and coordinate machine shipments to customers.
• Create detailed packing slips by weighing materials and entering data.
• Support manufacturing with SAP movements transactions.
• Communicate with customers to obtain shipping instructions.
• Prepare shipping documentation for FedEx, UPS, DHL and other carriers.
• Perform visual inspections of outgoing freight for condition and accuracy.
• Operate storage and retrieval systems as needed.

Pay Range

$21 – $26 (rate offered will be commensurate with experience)

To perform as a Material Shipping Specialist, your role will be to:

• Organize and coordinate domestic and international shipments for sales orders, repair orders, and service parts.
• Create, review, and maintain all required shipping documentation, including commerical invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, Canada Customs Invoices, USMCA documentation, and other applicable paperwork.
• Prepare, doucment, and coordinate machine shipments from Fives Landis Corp., to customers.
• Create detailed packing slips by weighing marterials, photographing items, and entering material information into spreadsheets for distrubution to customers and internal company representatives.
• Support manufacuting with SAP movements transactions.
• Communicate with customers to obtain and confirm shipping instructions and requirements.
• Enter,schedule, prepare required shipping documentation for FedEX, UPS, DHL, and other applicable carrier systems, including required tariff and customs information.
• Perform visual inspections of outgoing frieght to verify condition and shipment accruacy.
• Operate storage and retrieval systems as needed.

At Fives Landis Corp. and under the direction of the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, you will join the Receiving team.
