Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Program Manager for the Advanced Technology team in Tucson, AZ, to drive material program strategies across development through contract closure. The role interfaces with IPT, CAM, and supplier teams to ensure cost, schedule, and quality targets are met in a matrixed environment.

The position requires a university degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of related experience, strong program management and finance skills, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret

Qualifications

• Experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing.
• Experience performing financial or material oversight tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, or tracking cost and schedule performance.
• Experience developing schedules, supporting proposal activities, or contributing to risk and opportunity planning.

Responsibilities

• Execute the material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP).
• Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for RLPM activities and ensure IPDP compliance for programs and tailoring when applicable.
• Manage supplier performance and related supplier management processes, including SC metrics, international considerations, Make/Buy/Where, strategic agreements, and communicating customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, and quality.
• Develop, lead, and implement schedule creation, supply chain proposal activities, and risk/opportunity plans to meet program goals.
• Participate as a member of the program office, supporting IPT meetings, CCB, RORB, and ERB.
• Support the CAM for material by monitoring and addressing material-related performance and financial metrics, including budgets, working capital targets, forecasts, and AOPs related to cost, schedule, and quality.
