Assurant, Inc. in Mt Juliet, TN is hiring a Material Processor Lead (Picking) to supervise and train the picking team, monitor production performance, and ensure quality controls are met according to work instructions.

The on-site role operates Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in light manufacturing or 1 year as an inspector, with strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of light manufacturing experience or 1 year as inspector.
Proficient in manual processing and receiving, meeting UPH expectations.
Strong team player with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

Lead and train the picking team and assist in developing the group.
Monitor production performance and ensure quality controls per work instructions.
Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain proper workflow.
Track attendance for emergency procedures and support 5S audits.
Ensure adequate resources and reallocate as needed to meet goals.
Maintain KPI and SLA visibility and escalate issues when needed.
Operate forklift if required for the area.
